We’re looking for a product thinker who doesn't just manage products.
We’re looking for someone who can imagine what the product should become.
Someone who can take a messy problem, understand the user, simplify it, sketch the experience, prototype it with AI, work with engineers, launch it and then obsess over whether people actually use it.
This is NOT a traditional PM role.
We aren't looking for someone whose superpower is:
- Writing endless PRDs
- Managing Jira tickets
- Taking stakeholder requirements
- Running status meetings
- Maintaining a roadmap because "that's how we've always done it"
We are looking for someone who asks:
- Why does this process exist?
- What problem are we actually solving?
- What would this look like if we built it from scratch today?
And increasingly:
- What changes if AI is available as a fundamental capability?
What you'll do
- Own products from problem → insight → prototype → build → launch → iteration
- Understand students, learners, faculty, academic teams and other users deeply
- Turn ambiguous problems into simple product experiences
- Work closely with engineering, design, business and AI teams
- Create user journeys, wireframes and prototypes
- Use AI tools extensively for research, analysis, prototyping and product development
- Identify where AI, agents and automation can fundamentally change a workflow
- Define metrics and use data + user feedback to continuously improve the product
- Challenge assumptions including our own
- Decide not only what to build, but also what NOT to build
What we're looking for
- You don't have to be an ML engineer.
- But you should be AI-native.
- You should be comfortable experimenting with LLMs, AI agents, AI prototyping/coding tools and emerging technology and understand enough about them to recognise what is genuinely useful versus what is just hype.
- You should have strong product and design instincts.
- You don't need to be a UI designer.
- But you should notice when an experience is confusing, cluttered or unnecessarily complicated.
- You should be able to sketch an idea, build a prototype, put it in front of users and learn.
Most importantly:
You should be able to think.
We'd particularly like to meet people who have
- 3–7 years of product-building experience
- Shipped 0→1 or significantly transformed existing products
- Strong UX/product design sensibility
- Worked closely with engineering and design
- Built or shipped AI-enabled products
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- A genuine curiosity about how technology changes human behaviour
