Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim (MSU) is a pioneering institution that brings convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education. It is sponsored by the Medhavi Foundation, founded by a group of IIT Alumni in 2012. Role Overview:
This role serves as a trusted advisor and strategic coordinator to the Chancellor and Founder, supporting effective execution across institutional priorities. This role focuses on cross-functional collaboration, operational streamlining, and organizational development. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of ownership, a collaborative mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit to help build systems and structures that scale with the university’s vision.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with the Chancellor & Founder to coordinate key initiatives and institutional priorities.
  • Facilitate alignment across departments and teams to ensure shared goals and integrated execution.

Organizational Structuring & Enablement
  • Support the design and refinement of organizational structures to enable clarity, accountability, and scalability.
  • Coordinate with functional heads to ensure role clarity, smooth interdepartmental workflows, and effective team dynamics.

Process Design & SOP Development
  • Drive the documentation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and institutionalize best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure SOPs are practical, adopted, and updated regularly based on feedback and evolution

Lean Operations & Efficiency
  • Identify inefficiencies and collaborate with teams to co-create lean, effective solutions.
  • Help operationalize strategies that improve speed, reduce cost, and enhance service delivery across verticals.
 
Cross-Functional Project Support
  • Coordinate multi-departmental projects and ensure timely progress by tracking deliverables, resolving blockers, and facilitating communication.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project status, escalation, and alignment.

Strategic Partnerships & Growth Initiatives
  • Support the identification and nurturing of external partnerships with industry, academia, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure the operationalization of partnerships and development of new revenue opportuniti

Sales System Optimization & CRM Support
  • Collaborate with business teams to configure and improve CRM systems for B2B, B2C, and B2B2C verticals.
  • Ensure the CRM is well-integrated with the university’s workflow and supports data-driven decision-making

Policy Alignment & Program Development
  • Work with academic and industry teams to support the implementation of NEP 2020 and the National Credit Framework.
  • Facilitate coordination for the design of skill-based, industry-integrated academic programs.

Admissions Strategy & Operational Support
  • Assist in aligning admissions operations with broader institutional goals.
  • Coordinate with admissions and outreach teams to support effective and efficient enrollment process

Talent Acquisition Coordination
  • Work with HR and hiring managers to ensure smooth and timely talent acquisition aligned with organizational needs.
  • Support creation of systems for better workforce planning and onboarding.

Digital Infrastructure & Systems Support
  • Coordinate web and digital platform development to ensure they align with institutional objectives and user needs.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical and functional teams to maintain scalable digital systems.


Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Operations, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, strategy, project coordination, or institutional development.
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with Indian higher education systems and policy frameworks such as NEP 2020.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
